Dr. Chun Jiang

Dr. Jiang has more than 18 years’ experience in university teaching, curriculum development, and academic administration. Prior to founding Elite Education Vocational Institute, Dr. Jiang was the Academic Director of a number of higher education providers. Since 2009, he has developed BIB (Accounting), BBus (Professional Accounting, Business Management, Communication and PR), MPA, MPAB, MIB, and MMPR. Dr. Jiang brings along a wealth of experience in higher education management and his own subject matter area of Accounting and Finance. He is a passionate advocate for quality and practicality in university teaching and in the useful application of accounting as a profession for the betterment of society. Dr. Jiang has been teaching accounting undergraduate and postgraduate programs in several universities since 2004, including UNE, ACU, Curtin (Sydney), CQU (Sydney), UB (Sydney) and other institutes. Dr. Jiang is a Fellow of CPA and a CPA Professional Examination Developer & Marker. He is an active Professional Accounting Practitioner and holds a CPA Public Practice Certificate. Dr. Jiang is also a Justice of Peace (JP) since 2008.

Professor Leonard Webster

Deputy Vice Chancellor & Melbourne Campus Director

PhD (Monash), M Ed St, BA, Dip. T, Cert A, MACE

Professor Webster comes to us with over 25 years’ experience in the higher education sector. Most recently, Professor Webster has held senior higher education academic, teaching and learning, quality and compliance appointments including Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Pro Vice Chancellor Quality and Compliance, Australian Universities Quality Agency Audit Director, Director of Regulation and Review and Senior Higher Education Adviser for the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and as a Teaching and Learning Fellow. Professor Webster has a PhD from Monash, is a Fellow of the Australian College of Educators, won several awards for his Teaching and Learning innovations and published many books including co-author of the book “Leadership and Management of Quality in Higher Education”.

Tony Professor A. G. (Tony) Shannon AM is an Adjunct Professor at several Australian universities and an Emeritus Professor of the University of Technology, Sydney, where he was Foundation Dean of the Graduate Research School and Professor of Applied Mathematics.
He is on the Board of Trustees of the University of Notre Dame Australia and several small colleges. In 1987, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for services to education.

Dr. Ashraf is the Chief Examiner and Supervisor for PhD for many National and International Universities including Bangalore University, Pondicherry University, University of Western Sydney and Charles Darwin University. She is the Research Director of the Consortium for Teaching, Research, Learning and Development Louisiana, USA. She has headed 12 Law Schools as Professor and Principal in Asia, and worked as Head of Law and College Head in Monash University, Australia. She has been teaching law as a Professor, Senior Lecturer and Head of Law for more than 18 years. Dr. Ashraf has received many excellence awards in Australia and overseas including Golden Apple Teaching Excellence Awards, two awards from overseas Vice-Chancellors and many more. She has been consistently rated as ‘Top 3%’ of the best academics/teachers in Monash University, Australia and overseas.

Mr. Sam Liang

Sam LIANG is a trustworthy certified accountant with more than 10 years’ experiences in the accounting industry. He is also a registered Tax Agent. Since joining Elite Education Group in 2014, Sam has developed effective and efficient ways in preparing reports required by the regulatory bodies in compliance with the standards of the education industry.

Leyda Cordon started her professional career in finance where she gained extensive experience in financial services and banking. After moving to the education industry more than 10 years ago, she has developed experience in marketing, student support, event planning and student services. Being a people and services orientated person, Leyda’s qualities go hand in hand with the skills required in the education industry.

Shawaldeep Kaur started her career in the Education industry as early as her days in college. With five years of experience in this field, she has worked in a variety of positions, performing a myriad of responsibilities and duties. Shawaldeep was also an English Language Teacher in her home country. With experience in academic referencing and English language teaching, she has developed the ability to provide student learning support.

Sunny Chen started her career at the University of Sydney in 2006, with experience in international student office and international relations office. She also worked with the University of Melbourne and represented the Melbourne Business School in China. She joined Elite in 2016. With her major and passion in education and her profound experience in working with international students, Sunny performs an excellent job in her student counsellor role.

Harmeen Kaur comes to Elite Education Vocational Institute with 9 years of experience in the Education industry. She has held a variety of senior roles in student consultation, management, marketing and compliance. She has managed several colleges onshore and offshore before commencing with Elite Education Vocational Institute.

Harpreet Singh (BBus Accounting CQU) is an aspiring Marketing and Student Support Officer at Elite Education Institute. He is commercially astute and has a strong work ethics. His interpersonal skills have helped him to build lasting relationships with agents and students alike. He has a depth understanding of all the aspects of the organisation. Hazel Zhou (MPA UNSW) comes to Elite Education Vocational Institute with 6 years’ experience in the accounting and finance field, where she gained both technical and managerial skills. Hazel handles agents and students on a day to day basis, while also ensuring an appropriate and efficient documentation of procedures. Her friendly personality and quick responsiveness adds to the overall efficiency of Elite.

Elaine has over 12 years of experience in Higher Education Teaching and Management, educating students across the breadth and depth of culturally and geographically identified students across Australia, Hong Kong and China. She has worked with Victoria University Australia, Southern Cross University Australia and Teesside University United Kingdom for their Transnational Higher Education programmes, before joining Elite Education Vocational Institute. She has vast experience in Higher Education quality assurance and Transnational Education programme (TNE) and Non-University Private Higher Education sector (NUHEP) in Australia.

Elaine has a Master’s Degree in Business from Victoria University, Melbourne and Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) from City University of Hong Kong. Her areas of research include destination marketing, tourism marketing, consumer behaviour, branding to name few.

Tonmoy Toufic Choudhury comes to Elite with a wealth of Academic knowledge. Tonmoy has taught at different Australian and foreign universities including Western Sydney University, Australia; East West University, Bangladesh and Independent University, Bangladesh. Furthermore, he submitted his Ph.D. thesis from Western Sydney University, and also completed his MPhil from Aberystwyth University and Masters from Australian National University and Bachelor from Macquarie University. He is Elite’s acting Course Coordinator for accounting courses, and also teaches account subjects at EEVI. Tonmoy has published several peer reviewed journals and is actively engaged in continuing professional development activities.
